Restaurants
The south-west of France is a culinary paradise. Who doesn’t know the duck breasts, the foie gras, the confit de canard, the truffles, the périgourdine salad and the many dishes prepared with the local prunes.
According to your taste and your budget we can give you tips for good restaurants in Monflanquin and the villages in the area.
In Monflanquin there are several restaurants.
On the main square, you will find four restaurants, each with a terrace under the arcades. The Prince Noir is a restaurant / wine bar where they serve quite a lot of duck. Le Jardin serves French cuisine, but has more fish on the menu. La Grappe de Raisin has a wide menu and has great salads and pizzas. The creperie Les Bastides serves crèpes and good salads but also has a black board with 'specials' that change regurlarly.
In the Rue St. Pierre there is an Italian restaurant called La Baldoria.
Just outside the old town you can eat at La Bastide des Oliviers, La Tonnelle (only on reservation), restaurant Monform and Moulin de Boulède.
In Puymirol (at 30 miles from Monflanquin) you can have a treat in a three-Michelins-stars restaurant.
