Can you imagine yourself sitting in the sun, next to a pool, sipping a glass of cool wine, enjoying the Tuscany-like landscape, your only worry what to prepare on the BBQ this evening ?

Your dream can come true at Domaine Les Bourdeaux in the south-west of France, near the medieval village of Monflanquin.

Domaine Les Bourdeaux is a centuries old property that has been renovated completely in 2001/2002. Our aim has been to create a place where guests can totally relax and fully enjoy the quality of French life.

In July and August you can rent the entire Domaine Les Bourdeaux, during one or several weeks.

Domaine Les Bourdeaux can accomodate 15 persons. When you rent Les Bourdeaux you will have five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a beautiful French kitchen, a living, your private pool, various terraces, a jeu-de-boules court and a chess board of 4 x 4 metres. You will have absolute privacy as the house is situated on 10 acres of private ground and you have a splendid view on the village of Monflanquin.

Lay out:

On the ground flour there are two bedrooms each with a double bed (2 metres long). Those two bedrooms share one bathroom and a separate toilet. In an annex of the mainhouse you will find the room Sancerre (accessible for wheelchairs) with two single beds (2 metres long) and a big couch. This room has a bathroom with a big round shower, a toilet and a wash basin.

Also on the ground floor you will find the big French kitchen with a gas oven (5 burners) with an electric grill, a dishwasher and adequate kitchenware. There is a CD player in the kitchen. In the utility room next to the kitchen is a fridge + freezer, two washing machines, a dryer and ironing facilities.

On the first floor you find the room Champagne, with two single beds (2 metres long) and a big couch. This room has a big, luxurious bathroom with a shower, a bath, a toilet and 2 wash basins. The other room on this floor, Fleurie, has two rooms and a mezzanine and a bathroom. There are four single beds (2 metres long). In the bathroom you will find a shower, a toilet and two washbasins.

There is an extra convertible bed that can be placed in the rooms Sancerre, Champagne en Fleurie. Besides that, there are two baby beds at your disposal that can be put in almost all the rooms.

Furthermore there is a living with a television, a video, a baby chair, an extra fridge, books (in English) and information on the surroundings.

Arround the house there is a big terrace, the swimming pool with its own terrace, a jeu-de-boule court, a chess board and the summer kitchen (with a covered terrace) with a BBQ. The pool measures 5 x 10 metres; it has a part that is 1,10 metres deep and the deepest part is 2,20 metres deep. The pool has an alarm. The terrace around the pool has lounge chairs and parasols. Because the house is situated a bit higher than the surroundings you have absolute privacy and beautiful views on the village and the rural country side.

Near Monflanquin you can make beautiful walks, visit medieval villages and towns with nice markets and antique markets, make trips to e.g. the river Dordogne where you can see magnificent castles and caves and where you can rent a canoe. There are various rivers and lakes for fishing. If you like wine you can do some pleasant tasting in the Bergerac regio, the Cahors regio and the Duras regio. Two km away from Les Bourdeaux, in the village of Monflanquin, you will find shops and restaurants and around the 15th of August you can enjoy the medieval festivities of Monflanquin.

The price to rent Domaine Les Bourdeaux is Euro 2650 per week (arrival on Saturday after 16.00 and departure on Saturday before 10.00). A refundable deposit of Euro 500 has to be paid on arrival. Cleaning at the end of your stay, by us, is included in the price.

When you arrive at Domaine Les Bourdeaux we will welcome you personally and show you arround. During your rental period we don't live on the property, but we pass by every morning to maintain the pool. When there are problems or when you have questions we are easy to contact. We will make sure that the beds are made on your arrival and towels and washing-gloves are provided.

Dogs are not allowed and smoking is forbidden inside the house.
